The last evening, while dining in Nairobi's most famous establishment, they wonder which scene, which experience, which encounter they had during their safari in Kenya was the most memorable. When did the five friends from England, Italy and Germany realize that they had experienced something extraordinary? In fact, an absolutely extraordinary whole week.
Maybe it was late Tuesday afternoon. After some cookies and coffee, they are taken behind the scenes at Sasaab, a Moroccan-inspired lodge in Samburu territory. We show them the cisterns that collect water for showers and toilets, the large solar panels that provide electricity for the entire complex as well as the heavenly garden where all the fruits and vegetables prepared in the kitchen grow. They also go to see the blacksmith, who makes kitchen knives and other blades in his small oven, as well as spears for the young Samburu warriors. And they meet three shepherds, who have saddled camels.
