There were a lot of people this Friday morning at the Arawak hotel, the place chosen to organize a very special auction: those of objects and other products seized or confiscated during police or gendarmerie operations. A sale which will compensate the victims or quite simply, supplement the State budget and particularly the Ministry of Justice.

To understand this exceptional sale, you must first know what it is about and at the same time what this sale will be used for. Because this was no ordinary auction.

Moreover, many potential buyers did not wish to be filmed there and for good reason, sometimes, some were the people from whom the Justice and the police carried out the seizures or confiscations of the items put up for sale.

It is to a specific organization that the State and in particular the Ministry of Justice entrust this type of sale. The Agency for the management and recovery of seized or confiscated assets.

On sale this Friday, jewelry, alcohol, wine, cars including a Porshe vehicle with the aim of many buyers. With the risk that the buyer who wins the auction will not even be in the room since the sale was also carried out online.

For the moment, we do not know what this Friday's auction brought in total. However, we know that these sales bring a significant amount to the State. Last year, throughout the national territory, 175 million went to supplement the state budget and 97 million made it possible to compensate victims.
