An outcome far from the image we usually have of the british royal family and the cozy atmosphere of Buckingham Palace. This last Tuesday, Her Majesty’s Palace organized a Christmas evening for its employees. And it has clearly degenerated.

The British press reports that the event took place at the All Bar One, an establishment on Victoria Street chosen for its proximity to Buckingham Palace. But the magic of Christmas was cut short. Drunk beyond reason, a 24-year-old employee attacked the bar staff and began to break glasses before the stunned eyes of the audience. “I’ve never seen someone so wild at a party. […] It was a crazy evening. We were completely overwhelmed with reservations and this group of 50 people made it even more difficult.”confided a source in the Sun. Security would not have been able to channel it and the police were called for reinforcements in the evening, around 9 p.m. This maid was arrested, taken into police custody and spent twenty-four hours in prison before being released. Buckingham Palace is taking the matter seriously and an investigation which could lead to disciplinary proceedings is underway.
