After having announced at midday that the Head of State proposed a “new method” to build the future government, which would involve the organization of a “meeting of different political forces to discuss a programmatic platform”the leader of the Ecologists, Marine Tondelier, confirmed that this meeting would be held ” tomorrow “.

“We have just been contacted to offer us a meeting” Tuesday, said Marine Tondelier, while stressing that the time remained to be determined depending on “everyone’s diaries”but that it would be about “tomorrow afternoon probably.”

“I understand that it will bring together all those who have been received” since Friday, either the representatives of “different political forces”, having agreed to discuss with the president to agree on “ a method”, discuss the formation of the future government and perhaps agree on measures and/or a non-censorship agreement. In a post written on X, the national secretary of the PCF, Fabien Roussel, also received this morning by Emmanuel Macron, also confirmed that a “new meeting” will be held “ tomorrow with the president and the political forces »without specifying the time.

Marine Tondelier welcomed the fact that the National Rally (RN) was excluded from this framework, noting that if La insoumise is not present, it is not because it had not been invited but because she refused to participate, unlike the far-right party.

“I note that Emmanuel Macron is ready to discuss” and to “break the deadlock” of any agreement with the RN, welcomed Mme Tondelier, while recalling the “green lines” of his party, and the fact that the New Popular Front is calling for a left-wing prime minister to be appointed.
