Police remain hopeful of finding Taylor Casey, an American woman who has been missing in the Bahamas since June 19, alive.

Having arrived in the Bahamas a few hours ago, Taylor Casey’s family received some worrying news. The cell phone of the Texan who has been missing since the evening of Wednesday, June 19, was found “in the water.” However, there is no question of giving in to despair for the island’s police, who assured ABC News that “the priority” is to find the yogi “in good health.”

Taylor Casey traveled to the Bahamas in June for a yoga retreat, something she has been doing for more than 15 years. But she has not been seen since the evening of Wednesday, June 19. She was last seen around Paradise Island, a small beach enclave just off the coast of New Providence, before she “mysteriously disappeared.”

The expanded search area

Major searches have since been carried out near the place of his disappearance, with the help of numerous police officers, divers, drones and dogs. In vain, pushing the police to widen their search to a much larger area. And at this stage, no lead seems to be favored by the investigators, who are forcing themselves to study the video surveillance images of the island.
