Ophenya: Reported to justice for sectarian abuses

Influencer Ophenya is in turmoil. The public prosecutor’s office confirmed on November 19, 2024 to “Tech&Co”, a daily program broadcast on BFMTV, that it had received a report from Miviludes, the interministerial mission to combat sectarian aberrations, about the 24-year-old French woman.

As our colleagues explain, this report, which “is currently being analyzed”, follows the concerns of a collective fighting for the protection of young people on social networks. This group accuses Ophélie Vincent, her real name, of manipulating her young subscribers – many of whom also consider her as a big sister – and of establishing a relationship of codependence with them.

If the influencer’s lawyer confirmed being aware of this report, she refused to comment. For her part, Ophenya doesn’t seem to be overly worried. In an Instagram story published on November 20, 2024, she wrote: “I am announcing to you that I filed a complaint with my lawyers earlier at the police station. The lie takes the elevator, but the truth takes the stairs! I’m fighting against cyberbullying, so of course I won’t give up, you can count on me.” To be continued.
