A Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) Airbus A330 flight connecting Stockholm to Miami was forced to turn around on Thursday November 14, 2024 after experiencing severe turbulence over Greenland.

Flight SK579, which took off at 12:55 p.m., was due to land in Miami at 5:45 p.m. local time, but was forced to return to Copenhagen due to the situation as shown in this flight plan published on the Flightradar24 website:
