The war between Israel and Hamas has left 37,551 dead in the Gaza Strip, mostly civilians, according to a new report released on Saturday June 22 by the Palestinian Islamist movement’s health ministry. The Israeli army again shelled the north of the Palestinian enclave on Saturday. Palestinian medical sources notably announced twenty-four deaths and several wounded in Israeli air strikes on Saturday against two neighborhoods of Gaza City.

As fighting between the Israeli army and the Islamist Hamas movement rages, at least twenty people have been killed and several others injured in an air raid on a house in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, AFP the spokesperson for Gaza civil defense, Mahmoud Basal. Four others were killed in a strike in the Al-Shati refugee camp, he said. Doctor Mahmoud Aliwa of Al-Ahli Hospital confirmed that twenty-four bodies were transferred to the facility after the strikes.

The ICRC reports twenty-two deaths in the south of the enclave

On Friday, twenty-two people were killed and forty-five others injured in shootings near an office of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in the southern Gaza Strip, where fighting between the army Israeli and Hamas continued on Saturday. The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, these deadly shots and requested the opening of a “independent investigation”.

The health ministry of the Hamas-led Gaza government reported twenty-five deaths and fifty injuries, accusing the Israelis of “targeted the tents of displaced civilians in Al-Mawasi”. Official of Islamist group Jamaa Islamiya killed in Israeli strike in Lebanon

A Lebanese security source announced that a leader of the Islamist group Jamaa Islamiya, close to Hamas, was killed on Saturday in an Israeli strike targeting his vehicle in eastern Lebanon. The Israeli army confirmed that it “eliminated” this manager. According to Israel, at least fifteen of its soldiers and eleven Israeli civilians were killed.

Israeli civilian killed in West Bank
