In the presence of Argentine President Javier Milei, the Republican notably greeted Robert F. Kennedy Jr., his future Minister of Health and Social Services and Doug Burgum, future Minister of the Interior.
Donald Trump especially complimented Vivek Ramaswamy and Elon Musk, whom he co-nominated at the head of the “Ministry of Government Effectiveness”. “They will save a lot of money and make our country stronger and better,” enthused Donald Trump, before praising the “extremely high IQ” of the boss of Tesla and SpaceX. “I’m someone who believes in high IQs, and his is about as high as IQ can be,” the president said, thanking Elon Musk for campaigning in Pennsylvania on his behalf.

Of the Trump clan, only Donald Junior was present at the gala of the America First Policy Institute, a conservative think tank which brings together many executives from the former Donald Trump government (and probably the future therefore). The absence of Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner, once again illustrated the gap that has widened between father and daughter.
