Paul Arcand thus discusses the priorities on Donald Trump’s agenda:

From the outset, by showing up at the White House, what he’s going to do is protect himself. Clean up all the lawsuits, criminal and civil cases that are on the table against him. To give himself, obviously, immunity which has been confirmed by the Supreme Court and also to be able to proceed as he does… grant a pardon to the rioters who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

He also explains, among other things, that Trump intends to clean up the federal public service, while nearly 50,000 positions are evaluated as being the “deep state” which would work against the interests of the Americans according to him, in order to appoint people who are loyal to him instead.
