Tourists in Cuba should expect ‘a really bad day’ due to another widespread power outage hitting the country after the hurricane Rafael.

Like millions of island residents, hotels find themselves, for a second time in as many weeks, without electricity.
“The hotels, at the moment, are on generators to try to meet the needs of customers,” explains travel agent François Laramée in an interview with Mario Dumont.
The latter communicated with a person who is currently in Cuba and who confirms that they have “the bare minimum”.
“They don’t have air conditioning, obviously. And they have the minimum to eat,” reports the travel agent.
