It's a tense exchange with his boss that has garnered millions of views. Fabián, a Colombian employee at a car garage, had a heated argument with his boss after arriving late for work.

The reason? His car was destroyed during the floods that ravaged Spain. The man lives in Alfafar, south of Valencia, which was hit hard by the bad weather.

Several hours on foot to go to work

Fabián filmed the exchange which was posted on social media: “You had to be here at 7 a.m.” can we hear his boss reproach him, before adding: “This morning you stayed at home being lazy“.

But without a car, Fabián takes 2.5 hours to reach his workplace. This is the journey that the latter made on foot, and which he documented in another video. Usually it takes 30 minutes by car.

The man explained his situation to Spanish television channel RTVE. On

He's going to fire me if I'm not there, so I don't know if there's a lawyer or someone who can advise meexplained Fabián. If so. Right now I'm walking to see how I get there, because I need this job, I have no other way to get there.

According to Spanish media MarcaFabián was not fired.
