After the death of Hassan Nasrallah, Tehran has the stability of the Middle East in its hands. Because Hezbollah and its late leader are the armed wing of the Iranian regime on the border with Israel.

So could Tehran enter a war head-on? Difficult to say in a region where major upheavals have been occurring at a rapid pace for a year. The regime has reaffirmed its support for Hezbollah, but it remains to be seen whether it will send troops or massively weapons into the country. On Saturday morning, a “civilian” Iranian cargo plane was prevented from landing at Beirut airport after Israel threatened to shoot it down.
