The Angels bring back a point from Terville before returning to in two days

In Women’s League A (4th day), Béziers gave in to the tie-break on the Terville Florange floor. A new trip awaits him this Tuesday, October 22 (8 p.m.), this time on the grounds of , 3rd overall who won in (1-3).

Béziers held on but ended up giving in to Terville. Well into her match with a series of deadly serves from Sibell which allowed the visitors to get some air (10-14) but it was without counting on the aggressiveness of Kulikova on the block. The locals did not find their offensive marks but Hadrych’s dazzling performances kept the opponents glued (18-18). And suddenly Hadrych kicked a stray ball. And suddenly Lindgren released a monster block to conclude a rally. Béziers lost in the first round (25-20).

The Béziers reaction

Change of scenery for the next set. Béziers made the powder do the talking through Stockman and Houssameldien Ahmed Meawad while the local arrows were planted off target or in the hands of a Béziers block at the height (3-8, 6-11). The Tervillo-Florangeoises did not give up but the fire of a Lindgren or a Fricova fell on a more than solid defense (12-18). The local changes changed nothing, Béziers won hands down (15-25) in the second act.

The Kulikova rocket

The start of the third set had only one name: Kulikova. Imperial in the block, clean in her attacks, she greatly contributed to launching the TFOC rocket (7-4). Béziers was struggling. Glaab like Hadrych imitated the Russian in the role of fence and the Blue took off (5-10), inviting Béziers to change passers, for the pleasure of the 111 who found the ex-TFOC Bouzinac. With the entry of Holterhaus and a lack of power, like Lindgren Lin, the visitors regained their senses (17-20, 22-22) but once again Kulikova (MVP of the match) came to save everything with three points ( 25-22).

Mano a mano suffocating

Béziers passed the second (3-6, 8-13) and kept the Bleues at bay until taking them to the tie-break without forcing (17-25).
An exercise from the fifth set which sent the TFOC back to its old demons, a month earlier against the same Biterroises. Sunderlikova won hers (2-5) before a series of services from Fricova turned the tide (8-7). The stifling mano a mano continued and the second match point was the right one for TFOC via a counter from Fricova (16-14).

Terville Florange beats Béziers, 3 – 2.
