A 20-year-old boy admitted his involvement in a burglary last year at the Palais des Sports in Toulouse. This individual had taken advantage of the Pentecost weekend to enter the office of Toulouse Métropole, manager of the place and that of the professional volleyball club.
On site, the visitor took two computers, a tablet, a little money but also the keys to a car. A Mazda in Spacer’s colors which was discovered a few days later far from the Palais des sports.
DNA identified
The work of the scientific police then made it possible to identify DNA in the vehicle. A 20-year-old boy has since been sought. He was arrested on Wednesday. In police custody, in front of police officers from the property crime brigade of the Right Bank division, he admitted his involvement in this theft.
The search of his home also allowed police officers from the local judicial police service to find items stolen in May.
Presented to the prosecution, the young boy will be tried before the Toulouse criminal court. While awaiting the hearing, he was placed under judicial supervision.
