Having to do now without its X factors: Earvin Ngapeth and Dusan Nikolic, Stade Poitevin has been going through a zone of turbulence in terms of results since the start of this calendar year.
Requested this week by their manager Cédric Enard, the Poitevin awakening was felt from the first exchanges against Paris. In a packed room with the colors and sounds of the Chinese New Year, Michelucci's counter quickly gave the visitors a three-point lead (1-4).

Having returned to level (12-12), the Poitevins made a small gap (14-16, on the attack of Thoral). Joined then overtaken (22-21), Magnin's teammates equalized (23-23), before a counter from Michelucci and an ace from Pujol for the victory of the second act (23-25).
Having been able to defend well and resist the Parisian attacks, Dan Lewis' players were better and better in their heads and expressions on the pitch. They quickly distanced themselves.
Michelucci MVP
On the counter and attack, Vucicevic, Michelucci, Thoral and Pujol kept the Poitevin counter ticking (5-13). Paris suffered slightly but did not crack (9-13). Nevertheless, the SPVB responded to each Ile-de-France closer (11-15 then, 11-17).
-At 19-24, the first set point was the right one for Vucicevic (19-25), now assured of not leaving empty-handed. During the fourth set, the Stadistes had to face good resistance from the Parisians, with a succession of ties up to 13 all.
Vucicevic and Pujol having successively put the ball on the ground, Poitiers then took a small option (13-17).
A lead that the visitors then took care to consolidate. An ace from former Ajaccian Roatta confirmed this positive trend.
Pujol and a final point from the MVP of the match Michelucci then offered the SPVB its first success of the calendar year. A success that will have to be confirmed at home next Saturday against Cannes.
