Marmara SpikeLeague (11th day)
Four successes in a row, only one set dropped: Tourcoing is going at a brisk pace and obviously has no intention of curbing its enthusiasm! Saturday evening, Nice arrives at the STAB Vélodrome in Roubaix for a nice game of cranks between two of the three current top scorers in MSL, Pablo Koukartsev in the North and Simon Hirsch in the South. The operation could be juicy for the TLM if it were to master the Aiglons because behind, Poitiers is exempt this weekend and Chaumont will not have an easy task in Sète. An Arago who wants to quickly erase the elimination from entry into the Coupe de France this week.
Back on the MSL stage this Saturday, Montpellier is eyeing the podium before hosting the Spacer's, who have been making slow progress lately, with three losses in their last three matches. Things are not going much faster for Saint-Nazaire. An outgoing champion who has only taken four points in these last five matches and who travels to Tours this Friday evening to open the 11th day. From Tourangeaux whose start to the season is also delicate, but who appeared much more dashing on the Côte d'Azur last Saturday.
Things are not going well for Paris either, despite the repeated “cards” from Nik Mujanovic (21.1 pts on average, n°1 among scorers). With the arrival of Narbonne, not celebrating either, Paris Volley is expecting a rebound. Finally, Le Plessis Robinson challenges the strong promoted Cannes at home.
Saforelle Power 6 (11th day)
There's a clash of great ladies on the program tomorrow evening at Mangin Beaulieu. The Neptunes, sunk for the first time this season in SP 6 last week at Le Cannet, are indeed hosting Mulhouse, their closest pursuer in the standings. A VMA rather well camped away, with only one setback far from its bases (2nd day at Terville-Florange), and which can become co-leader on Saturday evening in the event of complete success!
Besides the high mass, there are some tempting posters this weekend. In Auvergne, Chamalières dreams of bringing down the French champion, Levallois Paris, and climbing into the Play-Offs zone. After its setback in Provence, at the PAVVB last Saturday, Vandoeuvre Nancy wants to raise its head in front of Béziers, which has so far suffered five defeats in five away games!
THE PAVVB is waiting for Quimper, eyeing the podium, within reach of darts in case of success. Further up, in the East of France, the Mosellanes of TFOC want to continue against France Avenir, after their nice blow to Marcel Cerdan last Saturday. Le Cannet also wants to finally set in motion a dynamic. After bringing down the Neptunes last Saturday, Voléro hopes to make the big operation bear fruit in front of the promoted Girondin, Bordeaux Mérignac. Finally, neighboring Cannes welcomes Marcq-en-Barœul, who has just amassed twelve points in their last five matches.
LBM (8th day)
It’s a big poster, a royal Saturday coming up in Gironde. It could even be a feast
for the Saint-Jean-d'Illac bees if they managed to bring down Ajaccio in the Ruche Arena for the first time this season. But the Corsicans, undefeated and with plenty of points in seven games, have plenty of strength and the ASI fell suddenly at home last Saturday against the young federal shoots.
France Avenir would also see itself losing another strong lead in the process since the kids are traveling this weekend to Fréjus, currently second in LBM. Martigues, which is following this closely, hosts Cambrai which has just had two successes without losing a set.
Further down, Reims awaits Nancy for a tilting duel towards the first part of the ranking. Finally, Royan, who has not won since the opening day, is aiming for a second success this season against Saint-Quentin.
