End clap. This Monday, January 20, TF1 is broadcasting the last two episodes ofErica from 9:10 p.m. Inspired by a successful Swedish novel, the series tells the story of Erica Faure, a successful novelist who is passionate about detective stories. She reconnects with her childhood friend by going to her native village but when she goes home, she discovers her lifeless in her bathtub. The heroine, played by Julie de Bona, will therefore try to find the culprit of this murder and will team up with Captain Patrick Saab, played by Grégory Fitoussi. Taking the ingredients of the success of the Swedish thriller, Erica – made in France – still distances itself from the dark sides of Camilla Läckberg’s books to adopt a resolutely optimistic tone while focusing on the budding love story between Erica and Patrick. And the audiences were there. More than 4 million viewers on average followed the adventures of this successful novelist. A great success for TF1.
-Erica : upheavals in the relationship between Erica and Patrick

Back in Port-Clément – an imaginary village for the purposes of the series -, Erica Faure hides her pregnancy from Patrick Saab. However, the duo will see their lives turned upside down after a mysterious episode surrounding a fire and the beginning of their family history will take a new turn. “They will become parents and will have to learn to adapt to the situation”confided Julie de Bona in an interview.
Erica : Was Julie de Bona pregnant on the set?
But was she pregnant on set? Unlike his character, Julie de Bona was not, the actress actually wore a fake bellya common practice in the film and television industry to make plot twists real. Erica’s surprise pregnancy is therefore a long-planned intrigue in the unfolding of the story and Julie de Bona has therefore adapted to the exercise by wearing a false belly.
