“Instinct – In Deep Waters”: an intriguing second part

A TV film to watch this Thursday at 8:30 p.m. on La Une.

Exactly one year after a tragic bus accident which claimed the lives of four village children, a car ends up in the same place, in the same ravine. The driver, Amalia, who died instantly, is none other than the sister of the bus driver. Téva and Oriane know that they are intervening at an inexplicable crime scene.

It was neither a technical fault, nor a suicide, nor falling asleep, nor a driving error, nor malicious intent that led to this accident… The experts are unable to explain the reason for this particularly violent exit from the road. As if the driver had simply driven straight, without panicking, without ever deviating from her route. Incomprehensible…

Sequel to the Franco-Belgian TV film “À l’instinct”, by Myriam Vinocour, broadcast in 2023, “In Deep Waters” is directed by David Morley (“Les Rivières pourpres”, “Luther”).
