Émily Bégin discusses her role in “Indefensible”

In this season of the daily Indéfendable, you will have the opportunity to reconnect with Émily Bégin as she plays an episodic role that could well get people talking. We discussed it with the main interested party, who was very happy with this filming experience.

« Indefensible is often, I won’t say all the time, but I believe it is often inspired by real-life events. And this is my case », she tells us straight away.

« And that’s just one case. Listen, I couldn’t believe it “, she continues. “ I spoke with the author, Izabel Chevrier. We had very nice discussions. She was very honest with me. »

The actress confirms to us that she auditioned to get the role. She had to provide a “self-tape”, a home recording of her performance. You know the rest…

Thus, the actress had to play a role that was demanding to say the least: “ It is a woman who is kidnapped, kidnapped. It’s hard. It’s very, very hard. »

In Indefensible, I am fooled. It’s a woman who is going through something very, very hard, who is kidnapped, her kidnapper demands a ransom from her husband. It’s very intense!

In the role of her husband, you will find the actor Daniel Thomas (see his photo here), who we recently saw in Dumas.

« I fell in professional love with him. We had so much fun », tells us Emily.

The character of Émily Bégin will be represented in court by Kim Nolin, played by Julie Trépanier.

This will be to be discovered very soon in Indefensible, which continues to be broadcast from Monday to Thursday at 7 p.m. on TVA.

Émily Bégin will not be idle this winter, on the contrary, when we can also find her in Star Académie, as well as filming for the second season of FEM. Viewers will therefore have the pleasure of working alongside her on screen for several months.

This week, see En route vers Star Académie on TVA and on TVA +, at 7:30 p.m., to lead us to the first variety on January 19, 7 p.m., live. The dailies, where Émily will be a dance and sports teacher, will be broadcast from Monday to Thursday at 7:30 p.m. on TVA.

Note that in the same interview, Émily Bégin spoke about the end of her mandate with Si on s’aime.
