Who is the real killer? The ending explained

Number 5 of the most viewed series on Netflix, Fake profile made its big comeback with a season 2 whose ending is as unexpected and explosive as the previous one. We explain everything to you.

After waiting for over a year, Fake profile has finally made its comeback with a season 2 added to the catalog of Netflix. Available since Wednesday January 8, the continuation of the sulphurous Colombian series focuses again on Camila Román (played by Carolina Miranda seen in Who killed Sarah?) who is trying to rebuild her life with David. But her daily life is once again turned upside down when a series of mysterious murders is perpetrated by a serial killer who shamelessly uses Camila’s false profile. To prove her innocence, the Mexican dancer had to enter into an alliance with the man who had betrayed her months earlier: Miguel Estévez. Between personal dramas and unexpected revelations, the conclusion of the new salvo of Fake profile kept all its promises. But what happened?

Fake profile season 2: the name of the person responsible behind the murders finally revealed

Don’t read on if you haven’t seen the season 2 finale of Fake profile. By watching the end of the Colombian thriller, Netflix subscribers discovered that the serial killer was actually Angela Ferrer. During her stay in prison, the young woman met Dr. Joaquin Duval who, during the sessions, encouraged her to take revenge on unfaithful men due to the deception of her ex-husband Miguel. Shortly after her release from prison, Angela put her plan into motion by getting rid of Jesús Franco, a lawyer she seduced using a fake profile on a dating app. The young woman then took on the case of her brother Adrian, who discovered what Angela and Dr. Duval were up to. Colombian authorities were searching for the person responsible for the murders, but a lack of evidence made Detective Indira’s task difficult. After suspecting Inti, she discovered that the killer only targeted one type of profile: unfaithful men. But this hypothesis fell through when Erika, Camila’s friend, and Tina, the associate of her father Pedro, were murdered. The police eventually discovered that Angela Ferrer was indeed the person behind the murders, but she eluded them. She teamed up with her neighbor Vanessa after the latter killed her husband, Santiago, who flew into a rage after learning of the affair between his wife and Angela. The two lovers concealed their crime and made his body disappear in a bathtub of acid, before fleeing.

Fake profile : what happens to Camila and Miguel at the end of season 2?

After marrying David, Camila realized that she still had feelings for Miguel. Finally, she decided to separate from her husband and win back the man of her life. But the young woman was far from imagining that her therapist, Dr. Duval, would kidnap her, before taking her on a yacht. There, he confessed to her the smallest details about his relationship with Angela and the Machiavellian plan they put in place. Fortunately, Camila could count on Miguel, who attacked Dr. Duval once he boarded the boat in which his companion was. A fight ensued between the two men, but the authorities put an end to it by shooting the criminal. At the end of the second season; Camila and Miguel reunite and kiss, suggesting that they are finally together and that nothing will separate them from now on.
