More than thirty new air destinations in Andalusia

Almeria Airport

All airports in Andalusia have opened new connections throughout the year, as is the case of Almería, which has operated flights with Valladolid and Bristol, a destination that will resume from May 2025. In Furthermore, London-Southend and Gran Canaria connections are planned, both from April next year.

Cordoba Airport

Since July 2024, Córdoba airport has added two new connections to the Balearic Islands, more precisely to Las Palmas and Palma de Mallorca. In 2025 a new route will be with Gran Canaria.

Granada Airport

In addition, Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaén Airport will open connections to Amsterdam and Tenerife as new destinations for next year.

Jerez de la Frontera Airport

For its part, Jerez de la Frontera airport will integrate connections to the German cities of Leipzig and Hamburg in 2024. In addition, it is planned from 2025 the addition of flights to Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester, as well as the recent announcement of the new route to Berlin.

Seville Airport

Regarding Seville Airport, the capital has opened flights to Brive-la-GaillardeBucharest, Stockholm, Madeira and Trieste. To this will be added in 2025 new connections to Istanbul, Basel, Dublin, Düsseldorf and Rome, all gradually starting from the summer season.

Málaga Airport

Finally, Malaga airport incorporated new connections to Bari in 2024, Brest, DeauvilleHannover, Ostrava, Tel Aviv, Poznan and Bucharest, while increasing its flights to Aarhus, Bucharest, Munich, Athens, Cologne, Billund, Lille, NiceBirmingham and Tetouan. By 2025, new routes will be added for Milan and Liverpool.

In Andalusia, 80 airlines

These new connections strengthen the air connectivity of Andalusia whose airports received, according to the latest data recorded in November, more than 34 million passengers thanks to the almost 80 airlines that currently operate in the autonomous community and which connect almost 150 international destinations.

Arturo Bernal, the Minister of Tourism and External Andalusia, highlighted that these figures confirm that Andalusia is consolidating itself as a tourist destination of world reference with tourists who, from January to September of 2024, left in its economy almost 20 billion euros.
