Episode 13 of Dragon Ball DAIMA is now available in France on ADN and Crunchyroll, and like every week we offer you our complete summary of the episode. As Goku and his companions head towards Gomah, engine problems force them to land on a certain planet. The place where they land happens to be a planet full of surprises where even the Supreme King of Demons is afraid to venture!

Episode Title: “Surprise”
The episode begins with Gomah angry after seeing Goku and his friends recover the second Dragon Ball. He asks Degesu if all the guards have gathered in the first Demon Realm as he ordered, and then asks to put Warp-sama out of commission so that Goku and company cannot go to their kingdom.
Meanwhile, Goku and his friends’ plane is struck by lightning and begins to fall. The group fears falling into the sea, where the Kraken could eat them. But eventually he crashes on a mysterious planet. While Panzy searches for what’s wrong with the plane, the others go to scout the planet. Panzy lost her repair kit when they were attacked by the kraken, but Bulma presents her with a Hoi-Poi capsule, explaining how it works, and brings out a toolbox.
Vegeta asks if it’s not better for people who can only fight to go to the First Realm. Shin tells him that it’s impossible, humans alone cannot cross Warp-sama, they absolutely need a means of transportation. Neva suddenly understands what planet they have landed on. Panicking, he shouts for everyone to hurry up and repair the plane and flee, because they are on Planet Mega.
According to Shin, it is the second most dangerous planet in the Great Demon Kingdom, home to giants called Megaths. Neva points out that it’s not just the giants that are huge on this planet, everything is huge! Even the Supreme Demon King and the police don’t come here. Goku isn’t that worried, and says that if things go wrong he’ll take care of it. For her part, Panzy asks Hybis to serve as a stepping stone to help her repair the plane.
On Arinsu’s side, the guards are panicking because something seems to have happened to Warp-sama. Arinsu watches all this commotion from his window, and receives a phone call from Glorio who tells him that they have recovered the second Dragon Ball and that they are heading to the first Kingdom.
As Panzy does her best to repair the plane, Bulma begins a conversation about mechanics with her. She asks him what the stone is that shines in the mechanism. Panzy explains to him that it’s called a Majilite, it’s a stone that powers everything. In contact with acidic water, it produces energy for at least 30 years. Bulma asks if this stone is rare, Panzy replies that the top of the second Kingdom, therefore the bottom of the third Kingdom, is made of Majilite. Acidic water seeps from the Third Realm, causing a reaction and causing it to shine like the sun. Depending on the composition of the water, the color may change.
-As this is the first time that Panzy comes to the Second Kingdom, it is also the first time that she sees the sky of it. Bulma wonders if it is possible to obtain Majilite at will, but although it is a valuable stone, it is taken care of by the Supreme Demon King, so it is forbidden to extract it under penalty of being sentenced to death. Bulma says she would still like to have some, Panzy tells her that when they are done with their trip she will ask her father, it should be easy to steal some from somewhere.
While Goku is eating a fruit in the forest, he is suddenly attacked by a giant hamster. Goku has a hard time getting rid of it because he doesn’t want to hurt it. But very quickly a horde of hamsters arrives and attacks our heroes. While they resist as best they can, a noise scares the hamsters away, it is the sound of a giant’s footsteps! Neva tells them that it is a Megath child, and the group is shocked to learn that a child could be this size. The giant is carrying a bag, Neva deduces that he has finished school and is on his way home. A dog then arrives, also very large. The child drops various things from his bag, and our heroes almost get crushed by giant pencils.
The child Megath appears to be eating something, Neva tells the group that he is eating a roasted kraken leg. The dog seems to have heard them talking and everyone hides. Goku, who left alone, is spotted and chased by the dog. The group joins forces to stop the dog from approaching the plane while Bulma and Panzy attempt to repair it. But as the latter shines, the dog tries to attack it. Goku ends up in the dog’s hair and is attacked by fleas. The dog is about to arrive at the plane, but Goku manages to push him away in time with a Kamehameha.
The repair is complete, but they are spotted by the giant who starts hitting the plane with a stick. As they are about to be crushed by the giant’s hand, Goku intervenes and saves them just in time, but falls into the giant’s clothes. He manages to escape but this time falls into the bag and almost gets crushed by a book. He then transforms into a Super Saiyan and throws away everything in the bag. Goku uses his nyoibo to stop the giant’s ruler blows, he then almost gets crushed by his foot but Glorio recovers him at the last minute with the plane. They finally manage to escape, everyone is back on the plane which can fly again.
Goku asks why the Megaths don’t seek to become kings of the Demon Realm, if they are that strong. Shin replies that they are peaceful beings who are absolutely not interested in that. Vegeta noted that Shin had said earlier that it was the second most dangerous planet in the Kingdom, and so wondered what the first was. Neva explains that there is a planet called Giga, on which the inhabitants called Gigaths are even bigger! The group flies over the planet, lights of all colors rise, offering a beautiful spectacle. End of episode.
Episode 14 of Dragon Ball DAIMA will be titled “ Taboo ”, and will be broadcast on January 17, 2024.

Dragon Ball Daima is a new Dragon Ball animated series produced by TOEI Animation, broadcast since October 11, 2024, and available in France on ADN, Crunchyroll, the MANGAS channel and NETFLIX. The series was first announced at New York Comic Con 2024, with a first trailer released at the event. As with previous Dragon Ball animated projects, Akira Toriyama was very involved, even beyond what he usually did according to Akio Iyoku. The father of Dragon Ball actually worked on the story, the character design, also created the world, the main characters as well as the less important ones, the vehicles, the monsters and more.
