After waiting three years to discover season 2 of the series Squid Game, some Netflix subscribers plan to enjoy it until the end. If some have put their detective skills at the service of the biggest theories around season 2, and others have noticed an inconsistency compared to season 1, the most impressive are still those who took the time to slow down the images to bring to light a beautiful dumpling which was left in the editing in the final episode of the new salvo.
Squid Game season 2: episode 7 kept a hell of a lot of fun in the editing!
During episode 7, Gi-hun (Lee Jung-jae) and his friends decide to fight back against the Red Guards. So when, once the fires were extinguished, a bloody battle broke out between the round clan and the cross clan, Gi-hun had warned his friends not to interfere. The plan is to wait for the Red Guards to intervene, pretend to be dead, and disarm and kill them when they come upon them. Quickly, the plan works and the dormitory is the scene of a confrontation between Gi-hun’s group and the guards. And it is at this moment, at 22 minutes and 39 seconds, that the ball can be observed: in a corner, we can see a production cameraman, camera on his shoulder, filming the scene. An error reminiscent of the Starbucks coffee cup on the set of Game of Thrones…
Squid Game : what about filming the third season of the Netflix series?
If we hope that the production team will learn from this error, it is during editing that we will have to be vigilant for the third season because filming has already taken place right after the second season! It’s a safe bet that the images will be extensively checked before broadcast. The end of post-production is therefore underway so that the new episodes will be available from 2025 on the streaming platform. A leak that took place a few days ago suggested that season 3 would arrive in the first half of 2025.
