Audiences: What score for the debut of “Elsbeth”, the new detective series from TF1?

Winning bet for TF1. This Wednesday, January 8, the channel broadcast the first two episodes of its new detective series “Elsbeth”, hosted by actress Carrie Preston (“True Blood”, “Person of Interest”, “The Good Wife”…). The first adventures of Elsbeth Tascioni, a whimsical lawyer who puts herself at the service of the New York police to solve investigations, appealed on average 3,55 millions of viewers. This corresponds to 19,1% of the public present in front of their television and 24,7% Women responsible for purchasing aged under 50 (FRDA-50).

On the FRDA-50 target, the show’s audience share climbs to 15,0%. At 10:21 p.m., the second part of the program retained the attention of 1,54 million of viewers, or 11,8% of the public and 16,9% FRDA-50s. On December 16, the last issue broadcast captured the attention of 1.47 million viewers (8.7% of individuals aged 4 and over and 14.6% of FRDA-50), placing the channel in 3rd position.

Flop for C8 and the documentary on Gabriel Attal

In the rest of the bonus offer, Arte is doing well with the film “The Fracture” by Catherine Corsini. The drama with a 5-star cast (Marina Foïs, Pio Marmaï, Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi…) attracted 831.000 movie buffs, or 4,4% of the public and 1,3% FRDA-50s. Note that the unpublished documentary on Gabriel Attal, entitled “Gabriel Attal, the test of power” and broadcast on C8, only brought together 491.000 viewers between 9:14 p.m. and 9:42 p.m., which corresponds to 2,4% of the public and 3,6% FRDA-50s. The second part (9:49 p.m.-10:49 p.m.) was of interest 244.000 viewers (1,4% of the public and 1,7% FRDA-50).
