Anggun thinks she knows why she replaced the comedian on TF1

TELEVISION – Inès Reg has put away her investigator costume. This Friday, December 20, it was the singer Anggun who was chosen to replace the comedian alongside Laurent Ruquier and the other jurors of the show Mask Singer, a new episode of which is broadcast on TF1 for the end-of-year holidays.

For this special evening, ten stars will don some of the most emblematic costumes from the program, including that of the camel or the bride. But it's not just any stars who will hide under the disguises: with the exception of one of them, these are celebrities who have already participated in previous seasons. Under other costumes, obviously.

“I associate the costume with celebrity, like Laurence Boccolini in the unicorn or Larusso in the penguin. But there, I see a costume and it's not at all the voice I was expecting. It’s disorienting,” tell Tele-Leisure Anggun, who took the place of Inès Reg, the only juror to have been replaced this Friday. Like the former star presenter of France 2 mentioned above, Chantal Ladesou and Kev Adams are also back.

« It was complicated », according to Anggun

According to the singer, the absence of Inès Reg is not linked to the controversy she had with Natasha St-Pier during the last season of Dancing with the stars on TF1. “ The show was recorded last February. I don't really know about Inès, but she was in the middle of filming VALLEY. So I think she couldn't do everything. It was complicated », estime Anggun.

This reason has not been confirmed by production, nor by Inès Reg. The comedian did not give further details regarding her departure from the show, in which she remained for a single season. On the other hand, the latter was also not reappointed to the casting of the new season, scheduled for 2025. We learned on Thursday that she was replaced by another comedian, Élodie Poux. And the season has not yet been filmed.
