Buoyed by the “Golden buzzer” from host Karine Le Marchand obtained on Wednesday October 23 on M6 on the show La France a un incredible talent, the RB Dance company opened the semi-final. Then, before the curtain came down on the qualification of the nine finalists, the company, founded in 2018 by Romain Rachline Borgeaud mixing urban jazz, tap dancing and percussion, burst into joy at the announcement of its name.

Among the troupe, Maëlou Audigier, 12 and a half years old, born in and resident of Port-La Nouvelle, did not immediately realize that they could win the title and the €100,000 promised to the winner of the final than the next day. It’s Lucrétia Sartre, her mother, who recounts how they both lived the experience: “I was not able to be on the recordings of the shows, but I of course knew the outcome of the filming. I learned that they were in the final on November 19. It was especially the next day that Maëlou realized. She was coming out of a long training session where they eat, sleep, work together with RB Dance. I think the excitement was too strong and then, she had to keep it a secret despite the many questions from those around her. It’s very complicated for one sibling to see the other excel in a field and I have the impression that my 15-year-old son is going through all that, but that it makes him happy to go support his sister in .” By then, RB dance will have created a new choreography. Before knowing the result, Lucrétia would like to add: “I know that Maëlou is lucky to be supported financially by her parents, because there are others at the RB Dance company where they sacrifice themselves for their child’s dream. I wanted to say that foundation should be created to help these young artists and athletes since nothing exists. The dance federation is trying to help them, but it is still complicated. And the mother concludes: “It’s a great adventure, but there’s work. Romain Rachline Borgeaud also gives them acting lessons and that’s important. His work with children is wonderful, I’ve seen my daughter evolve. I am proud, but the most important thing is that she is proud of herself. I have no particular requirements, the day she wants to stop, she will stop. I want her to live her life as a little girl. .”
