Wrestling in Canada: a guide to start the year 2025

For some time now, many changes have been underway regarding the television offering for professional wrestling.

Dear readers from Quebec and Canada in general, here is a guide to help you untangle yourself further and start 2025 in style.

For WWE in Canada, weekly episodes of RAW (Monday at 8 p.m., Quebec time), Smackdown (Friday at 8 p.m.) and NXT (Tuesday at 8 p.m.) will be on Netflix from January.

PLE (Premium Live Events) and some archives – but much less than on the WWE Network – will also be on Netflix. No additional packages have been announced.

In the United States, RAW will be on Netflix, but not the other weekly shows, nor PLE (on Peacock).

AEW will continue to air on TSN (usually on TSN2) with DynamiteWednesday, at 8 p.m.

Collision (Saturday at 8 p.m.) will be on the new USA Network, in Canadian version, which will replace Discovery.

Rampage will no longer be on the air.

As for PPVs, no change for the moment (TrillerTV among others). Perhaps a possible broadcast on a platform (Crave?), while this will be the case in the United States on MAX.

No changes for TNA. In Canada, Impact Wrestling is on air Thursdays at 8 p.m. on Fight Network and on Game Network at 11:30 p.m., in addition to the TNA+ platform.

OTHER PROMOTIONS

– Ring of Honor: on the Honor Club platform, with a subscription
– Major League Wrestling: sur Youtube
– Game Changer Wrestling: sour ThrillerTV
– NWA: on X (Twitter) and from time to time on Youtube
– TrillerTV broadcasts many wrestling promotions, including IWS (from Montreal)
– New Japan Pro Wrestling: Thursday at 10 p.m. on Fight Network and, for PPVs (Japanese and Strong divisions), on TrillerTV and on the New Japan website.
– Other platforms and sites feature indy companies, including YouTube.

Note that several videos on YouTube provide a good summary of the weekly episodes of WWE, AEW and TNA.
