As the grand finale of STAT’s 2024 took place this past Thursday, we decided to watch the episode again to try to pick out some clues and we discovered an important one. While we wait for the big return of STAT for the second half of the third season on January 6, let’s talk a little about what could happen.
As you now know, the mid-season finale did not end on a happy note as Delphine Martin (Virginie Ranger-Beauregard) collapsed to the ground at Steve Jolicoeur’s (Marc Beaupré) house.
For the moment, we do not know if Delphine collapsed to the ground because of her heart problems or because of the fumes she breathed in the hospital, we believe that it is the second option and that that’s why his defibrillator wasn’t going off. She did not have heart problems at the time of the events, but she was more likely to be under the effects of the fumes.
While Philippe Dupéré (Patrick Labbé) tried to help him because his defibrillator was not triggering, Steve stuck a scalpel in his neck.
Philippe then collapsed to the ground in turn, mentioning to Steve: “What did you do there? “.
The show ended with its images and nothing more is known until now about the two characters. However, we watched the episode again as mentioned above in order to draw clues from it and we discovered a major one.
Indeed, while Philippe is collapsing to the ground, we can hear the siren of an emergency vehicle in the distance.
Now we believe that the emergency vehicle will arrive in time to at least help Delphine!
Concerning Philippe, we also believe that he will be saved by… Steve!
Indeed, while Philippe says to him “what did you do there? » while collapsing to the ground, Steve seems to come to his senses because he drops the scalpel he had in his hand. We imagine that he has come to his senses given that he realizes the seriousness of the action he has just made.
Although Philippe seems to be in serious condition, Steve, being a surgeon, knows very well how to stop a major hemorrhage, so we believe that he will come to his senses in order to save his colleague.
Furthermore, this theory fits perfectly with the theory we have concerning the photo that Geneviève Schmidt who plays Dr. Isabelle Granger published a few days ago. We invite you to read this theory below:
