The former general director and editor-in-chief of TVA Nouvelles and LCN, Xavier Brassard-Bédard, has been appointed head of Groupe Média TFO.
His term will begin on January 6. According to a memo sent to employees, he will be based in Toronto.
He succeeds Michelle Séguin, who announced her retirement last April.

A professional journey that began in Ontario
Xavier Brassard-Bédard worked for 14 years within the TVA Group. He inherited the chair of editor-in-chief of the news room in 2020 after the departure of Serge Fortin, former vice-president of TVA Nouvelles and TVA Sports.
