After a first season praised by the public and critics in 2022, “Rogue Heroes”, the series from the creator of “Peaky Blinders”, Steven Knight, returns with an explosive season 2 to be discovered from January 2 on CANAL+.
Action without downtime. Adaptation of the eponymous novel by Ben MacIntyre by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders), the British series “Rogue Heroes”, centered on the creation of the famous Special Air Services (SAS) – the British special forces – will be back on CANAL+ from January 2, following its launch across the Channel on BBC One. The six new episodes will begin in the spring of 1943, and will see the members of the unit leave the African continent to travel to Europe.
«Since the capture of David Stirling, the SAS is now led by Paddy Mayne. They must leave aside the conflict in North Africa to concentrate their action on Europe. While HQ questions the future of the regiment, the creation of a new unit and the integration of newcomers complicates things even further. Will they be able to prove that the SAS remain essential to the war, wherever it takes them?”, it is specified in a press release.
As energetic as ever, this season 2 of “Rogue Heroes” allows viewers to find Jack O’Connell, Connor Swindells, Sofia Boutella and Dominic West in the cast. They are joined by Gwilym Lee (The Great) as Bill, David Stirling’s brother and creator of the SAS regiment, and Con O’Neill (Happy Valley) who plays General Montgomery.
