Thursday December 12, 2024 in More beautiful life, soon to be deprogrammed… Thomas finds Baptiste in the Mistral. Indeed, the young man was unable to sleep, so he opened the bar. He then explains to his father, who arrives with Romy, that he is sad about the situation with Emma, and that he is nothing without her. Reassuring him, the bar owner offers to take care of the establishment with Killian (Tim Rousseau – departing) for the day, while he can make progress on his Christmas presents. But, in reality, Gabriel’s husband has another plan… Back home, taking advantage of Emma’s absence in the kitchen, he steals her cell phone. He then notices that she has an appointment at a hotel that same day. That’s when Mathis’ mother arrives. This one pretends to have a meeting with a friend to leave. Showing himself suspicious of her, he does not hesitate to question her, even a little too much. Determined to make her lose her mask, he follows her and rushes into the hotel room where she is with a certain Fabrice. Convinced that she is with her lover, he loses his temper with his daughter-in-law, before she explains to him that the young man is none other than her boss. Thomas then apologizes…
More beautiful life in advance: Jennifer scared, Samuel tries to convince himself
In the early morning, Samuel is repairing Raphaël’s train, determined to have the toy in working order for Christmas. Noticing her companion’s enthusiasm, the young woman finds him very interested in the subject of children at the moment, and decides to start a conversation on this topic. But the cop turns away and prefers to flee. Later, at the police station, Gabriel’s cousin promises his superior that the train will be ready on time. Coming to discuss his relationship, he explains to Babeth’s husband that with Jennifer, they are still at the very beginning of their relationship and that it is still too early to think about children. A vague justification which does not seem to convince Patrick… In the evening, as he returns home, Samuel discovers Jennifer in the middle of repairing the toy. The joint activity is then an opportunity for a serious discussion. She then explains to her companion that she has been tense since he told her of his desire for fatherhood. She’s afraid he’ll leave him because she doesn’t want him. But the cop reassures her. He won’t leave her for this reason. The priority is first to enjoy your relationship…
More beautiful life in advance: Ophélie wants to find her biological parents, Ulysses to the rescue
At Massalia, Ophélie is in the middle of a discussion with a salesperson. The latter thinks that a wholesaler might be interested in his models. If the young woman is afraid of not being up to the task, she above all wants to become financially independent as quickly as possible, and refuses outright when the man suggests that she go through her mother’s contacts for greater efficiency. She even announces that from now on her creations will bear the name Colombine. Later, the salesman tells him some good news. The wholesaler offers him a contract. That said, he warns her because the rates offered are not advantageous, and he is sure that with a little time, she could find better. Listening to his suggestion, she decides to go see her brother for some advice. Touched by this approach, Ulysse (Jérémy Charvet – shocked by the intrigue surrounding the Keplers) notes that several points in the contract need to be reviewed, and offers to be his lawyer free of charge. She accepts, on one condition: that Ulysses helps her find her biological parents.
More beautiful life in advance: Uneasiness for Emma, Gabriel is convinced that she is pregnant
At Mistral, the collaboration between Baptiste and Killian is a bit tense, especially for Roland’s son who seems jealous. Mirta’s arrival doesn’t help matters. Evoking his fears concerning Luna – taken in by Cécilia, Killian tries to reassure her, but he is quickly sidelined by Thomas’ son (Laurent Kérusoré – who confided in the intrigue surrounding the Marci), that Rudy’s grandmother is so happy to find. She even suggests to the young man that he stays to work at Mistral with his father and uncle. The latter does not seem keen on the idea. For her part, Emma is angry after Thomas’ scandal at the hotel. She explains to him that it was an interview for an internal promotion. A real opportunity, which son Marci enjoys very little, given that she is expected to stay in Australia for at least five more years. As the discussion escalates, Emma suddenly feels ill, and ends up vomiting. Taken to Gabriel’s office, the young woman explains that she has been feeling nauseated for several days. As Baptiste joins them, the doctor questions the young woman about the date of her last period. She admits to being more than two weeks late. An admission which seems to confirm the doctor’s hypothesis. For him, his daughter-in-law is pregnant. An announcement that seems to be good news for both Baptiste and Emma…
