Maripier Morin: “I wanted to stick to Marie-Eve”

Maripier Morinwho was on the set of the Sunday meeting Everyone is talking about itaddressed various topics, both personal and professional. And the one who has hosted the talk show for 21 seasons now wanted to know more about his new position on the radio, at RythmeFM, alongside Marie-Eve Janvier.

She first explained that she was also transparent, telling anecdotes without taboos about her life, because with the latest events that took place in recent years, she wishes to demonstrate frankness and transparency, both for people who love it than for those who hate it.

“I’m not trying to be something that I’m not (…),” says Maripier.

It is subsequently that Guy A. Lepage addressed the fact that she had arrived in turmoil, given that Patricia Paquin had been fired a few days before returning to work on the radio show and Maripier had taken her place. Guy A. wanted to know if she had found it difficult to join the show The lunch girls in this context.

Morin then responded by revealing that she had experienced the same thing on her side, since she worked, as we know, at WKND and was let go when the station simply closed and was replaced by QUB Radio. A layoff which took place the day before his little brother’s funeral. A farewell to this radio set with which she was at peace, as she mentions, after having experienced a difficult birth, in addition to the loss of her brother just after, a terrible mourning.

“Finally, when Cogeco called and I knew that it would be with Marie-Eve Janvier, it seemed that inside, there was a bell that rang, because the mourning of a brother is not not everyone knows this. Then, to make a long story short, my boyfriend, his best friend, was Marie-Eve Janvier’s brother. So it seemed like I saw the two brothers upstairs saying to each other: Maybe it would do them good to put them together. I didn’t think much, much more than that. I wanted to go and stick with Marie-Eve,” adds Maripier on this alliance which obviously made sense.

“Did you have the opportunity to speak to Patricia?”, Guy A. also wanted to know given the circumstances which caused a lot of talk.

“No, unfortunately,” she replies frankly.

A very interesting TV moment in the company of Maripier.
