But what happens with Mélodie in “Indefensible?” Our hypothesis and clues

Thursday evening, in Indefensible, Mélodie (Naïla Louidort) felt unwell in the corridors of the courthouse while Me Biron (Marie-Laurence Lévesque) and Léo (Sébastien Delorme) started shouting at each other.

The young intern previously said she had a problem with people arguing, but we don’t know more. Why is Mélodie so sensitive to shouting matches? And, does she have the necessary caliber to perform the duties of a defense lawyer?

As she is very Cartesian, particularly brilliant and rigorous, we can imagine that she perhaps suffers from a pervasive developmental disorder (PDD), such as Asperger’s syndrome. Anxiety attacks, such as those of which Mélodie is a victim, are quite common among autistic people. It could also be that Mélodie is experiencing post-traumatic shock linked to a situation she experienced in the past involving people she loves who were quarreling.

One thing is certain, his mother, who we have happily heard about since the start of the season without seeing her on screen, will appear in the daily from next week. See who will play him here. She will visit Léo (in Wednesday’s show) and tell him some surprising information about his daughter. Then, she will return to the office the next day to “tell him her way of thinking”.

We should therefore have more information next week on Mélodie’s very intriguing situation.

Indefensible has only two weeks left before the holiday break. The mid-season finale will air on December 12.
