Kad Merad was the guest of Bonjour ! Wednesday November 27, 2024 on TF1. Accompanied by Valérie Bonneton, the actor went to the set of Bruce Toussaint to promote the film Christmas balls.

Upon his arrival, he did not hide his pleasure at being present in the morning show launched by the front page on Monday January 8. “I like watching you and it’s very nice to be there. I found that there was a lot of light when we watch you on TV. It’s very lit, which is good. It wakes you up!”he told Bruce Toussaint and his team of columnists.

Kad Merad questioned about Julia Vignali’s departure from Telematin

The host, whose son Noé is a rapper, then asked his guest if Bonjour ! was his favorite morning. “Can we say that this is finally your favorite morning show?”he told her in reference to the fact that his wife, Julia Vignali, presented Telematin until the start of the 2023 school year on France 2. To which Olivier Baroux’s legendary accomplice responded without hesitation: “Oh yes !”.

“For some time, you can tell?”added Bruce Toussaint. Kad Merad then assured that he was able to say it “since this year”. “It was my favorite morning show (Télématin, editor’s note)… But now it’s you!“he chanted, amused. To which the host, whose teams have been reshuffled, reacted with a big smile: “That’s what I wanted to hear!”.

He then set about presenting the film which Kad Merad and Valérie Bonneton came to promote. “It’s a crazy Christmas comedy. When a family reunion turns into fistfights, carnage in the literal sense of the word…”he explained before commenting: “It’s basically the nightmare of many families which is summed up in this comedy by Alexandra Leclère”.

After the release of the trailer, Valérie Bonneton confirmed that it was “a real carnage”. “It’s not an image. It’s reality, it goes very far”she clarified. What Bruce Toussaint was keen to emphasize: “It goes very far because there is a sort of curse for this family. It is that systematically on New Year’s Eve, there are more or less serious problems…”.
