For the next season, which will be broadcast on TF1 at the beginning of 2025, “The Voice” is “making its revolution” says Rémi Faure, the channel’s director of streaming programs.
In addition to the largely renewed jury with the return of Florent Pagny alongside Vianney and the arrival of Patricia Kaas and Zaz, and the new stage designed like an arena, we will have to take into account a completely new event.
The latter, called “the groups”, will follow the blind auditions. Coaches will have to divide the 16 talents on their team into groups of three or four members.
“A hard step”
“We give the coaches carte blanche to create unique scenes each time, with a particular staging. Some choose unique instruments, for example,” said Pascal Guix, the artistic producer of the telecrochet during the press conference this Wednesday. At the end of each group, the coach concerned will only be able to select one or two candidates. “It’s a tough stage,” he added, because at the end there will only be six talents left per team.

After this “groups” stage, there will only be 24 competing talents who will participate in the “battles”. This event will, however, take another name and will be limited to a single broadcast.
Then comes the turn of the live broadcasts, with a semi-final and a final. And it is, unlike previous seasons, only at this moment that the public, called to vote, will have its say.
