C8’s flagship show, “Touche pas à mon poste!”, continues to entertain the evenings despite a tense context for the channel. Indeed, after the rejection of the appeal by the Council of State concerning the allocation of TNT channels, C8 finds itself on reprieve and is currently circulating a petition to try to save its channel. This Tuesday, November 26, Cyril Hanouna was surrounded by his faithful columnists: Valérie Bénaïm, Bernard Montiel, Géraldine Maillet, Raymond Aabou, Jean-Michel Maire, Isabelle Morini-Bosc, Kelly Vedovelli, Gilles Verdez and Thomas Guénolé.
The evening started on a positive note with the presence of communication and audiovisual students in the audience. Two of them, Rita and Louise, particularly attracted the attention of the host. In a burst of generosity, Cyril Hanouna offered Rita an internship in his company, even going so far as to call her mother directly to share the good news. For Louise, looking for a work-study in editing, it was Jean-Luc Reichmann who came forward by telephone, offering his help to integrate her into his production company. Spotted at the exit of Europe 1 by Cyril Hanouna, Emma and Thibaud came to present their show in TPMP. If their first imitations of Léa Salamé and Laurent Ruquier were rather well received, the rest proved more complicated. The duo tried their hand at several personalities such as Christine Kelly, Pascal Praud, Marine Le Pen and Jean-Luc Mélenchon, before ending with an imitation of the presidential couple which was not unanimous.
On X, the reactions were not long in coming. “Completely very amateur! They are very far from imitation, more like caricature!” exclaims an Internet user. Another points out the inappropriate nature of certain jokes: “Well, ultimately it could be a little funny if Emmanuel Macron was not in office but now it’s embarrassing. And what’s more, these insinuations about Mykonos and the difference age of the Macron couple is really heavy, it comes easily.” “It’s not funny at all, is it? For nothing in the world I’m going to spend my Saturday evening seeing that”, adds another disillusioned Internet user.
Faced with growing unease, Cyril Hanouna finally decided to end the performance and send the duo of comedians off the stage to timid applause. In the process, Bernard Montiel did not fail to make a scathing remark: “I think they have talent, especially at the beginning.” A barely veiled criticism which visibly bothered the host who tried to tone it down: “In any case, we’ll give it a chance…”
