Married at first sight has established itself as one of M6's flagship programs. Based on a concept combining science and emotions, the program uses compatibility tests to train couples who meet for the first time… on their wedding day. While filming for the ninth season has just started, unexpected news could shake up the program.

Married at first sight : a departure in the next season?

Arriving during season 7 to succeed Pascal de Sutter, Gilbert Bou Jaoudé has been a central figure in the program for two seasons. His role was to support the participants on the themes of desire and sexuality, promoting discussions to guide the newlyweds in their new life as a couple. The sexologist, originally from Lille, would leave the show for “focus on personal projects“, according to information revealed by our colleagues at Parisian. Contacted by Télé-Loisirs, M6 declared: “we do not comment on this”. Her partner, the psychologist Estelle Dossin, will continue to be involved in this adventure.but would be accompanied by a new expert. Very active outside the show, Gilbert Bou Jaoudé is also a columnist for The Health Magazine on France 5 and regularly appears on Instagram, where he shares sex and relationship advice. We are therefore awaiting confirmation from the principal concerned.
