Stéphane Rousseau discusses his relationship with money

Stéphane Rousseau was a guest on the show For oncewhere he was treated to four one-on-one meetings with different personalities, who asked him several questions, both about his personal and professional life.

It was during the first moments, in the company of his friend Bruno Marcilthat the man of many talents broached the question of money, after his interlocutor wanted to know if he was rich, given his flamboyant career.

“I am independent of fortune, I could live until the end of my days if I die next week! No, no, but I’m not… I’m a spendthrift all the same,” begins Rousseau.

He then admitted that he had indeed made a lot of money, responding to Bruno’s remark, which suggested that his friend had amassed a nice sum over the course of his career.

“I did a lot… No, if I had invested back then, I would be very, very rich today. Unfortunately, I am more into spontaneous (…) pleasure. I have a little difficulty with that, I admit!”, he adds frankly.

He also revealed that at the time, his manager called him to tell him he needed to curb his spending. He replied: “Yes, yes we are going to cut”but at the same time, he had entered a store to buy… a Tintin figurine for $4,000.

“I still have it today, to remind me that I should have bought Bitcoins!”, finishes the comedian and actor.
