But before I got on the table, things happened and that was obviously cut“, explains Cali. “I remember at the time, I think there was Zazie with me. And they really criticized Zazie who I really like, I like her lyrics, I like this woman. And I saw them reading their sheets with all the criticisms and so there I was, I took the sheets and I took the sheets away from them, I said: ‘Now you’re going to say what without your nasty reminders actually,'” Cali said. Fortunately, this altercation did not go any further and the singer was even retained by an international star. “In the dressing rooms the next guest was waiting, who is Hutch from Starsky and Hutch. He’s in front of the dressing room TV, he saw what was happening on the set. He sees people he doesn’t know and people ready to fight so he came to separate us. I was separated from Eric Zemmour by Hutch so for me, it’s a source of pride“, he revealed. A memory that will end up engraved in Cali’s memory.
