The great reporter, now a presenter on LCI, was the guest of “Cmedia” this Sunday, November 24. The opportunity for her to recall her fed up with the media treatment of her private life.
To live happily let's live hidden? This seems to be the new mantra ofAnne Nivat guest on the “Cmedia” show this Sunday, November 24. Her relationship with host Jean-Jacques Bourdin has never been a secret. And it is in this spirit that the presenter Mélanie Taravant relied on an extract from an interview with the latter given to “Buzz TV” last September where he confides his first impressions on his wife's new role as presenter (she hosts 10 p.m. on LCI on Fridays and Saturdays since the start of the 2024 school year, Editor's note).
But this intervention by her husband was not to the taste of the main interested party. “It’s very nice that you play a sound from my husband but if you want, I think we’re in the 21st century today – it’s not you on the public service who’s going to tell me the opposite – we we women no longer need to be defined by what our husbands say about us”underlined Anne Nivat, visibly annoyed by the rebroadcast of this speech by Jean-Jacques Bourdin, or at least by the echo of his declaration.

And to continue, wearing a broad, slightly tense smile: “I am the wife of Jean-Jacques Bourdin, of course. But I am also Anne Nivat.” One of the columnists then wanted to take the opposite view by adding that it is rather the TV and radio host who is her husband. “ He is my husband, thank you for saying that. You are right», laughed the Russia specialist, specifying: “We all know that we are husband and wife. And we both have the same job, that is to say we love journalism, that’s true.”
Having understood that it was preferable to avoid this topic of conversation otherwise it would trigger Anne Nivat's anger, the journalists and columnists of “Cmedia” refrained from making any other reference to her husband. The journalist was able to discuss her beginnings at Skyrock in 1992, her arrest by the Russian secret services in 2000 but also her relationship with screens and the detox she carried out. It was only at the end of the show, during the last questions of “The cash interview” led by François Saltiel that the subject came back to the table. And if the message that Anne Nivat had had enough of everything being brought back to her husband had indeed gotten through, the columnist still ventured into a minefield. “If you pay attention, I will answer you. You want cash, be careful”warned the journalist.
“I’m not going to do it but I’m going to take the opportunity to do the opposite, what do you think of Jean-Jacques Bourdin?”then questioned the columnist. “No, but what do you want me to tell you? No, but honestly?Anne Nivat initially bristled before responding: “He’s been my husband for 20 years. I love him. That's personal. And I will never say anything again to attract the media to my husband and me. We learned the lesson. We will never give anything again. The clique whores are over. So the message got through. You wanted cash, you got it!”she concluded.
