The Star Academy is not just a simple artistic competition. The students who live for several weeks in the community, far from their loved ones, at the castle of Dammarie-les-Lys form a deep friendship over the weeks. It happens that tension rises at the castle, in particular due to the lack of hygiene of certain candidates. To remedy the situation, Marguerite took matters into her own hands and set up a cleaning schedule, hoping to restore some order and avoid further arguments. However, in difficult times, friendship becomes a lifeline! This is particularly the case of Maureen and Ebony, inseparable at the castle. The two young women share a wonderful bond, as viewers have noticed. And according to a telephone conversation between Maureen and her sister, their respective families also seem to have hit it off!
Maureen in Ebony (Star Academy) : “Your mother invited my father and my stepmother”
It's not just academics who build connections through the show. In the live broadcast on TF1+, this Wednesday, November 20, Maureen shared with Ebony the details of her call with her sister: “She told me: 'Ebony's mother, she invited dad to her restaurant in Martinique'because my father is going there in January. Our families get along so well. No, but really, your mother invited my father and my mother-in-law to her restaurant in Martinique… He's going to eat at her place. I find it so good. I'm so happy!” For her part, Ebony also showed her enthusiasm : “Ah, I'm so happy! It's crazy!” The unique bond that unites the two academicians thus seems to have crossed borders to bring their loved ones closer together, for their greatest happiness.
Maureen in duo with Chimène Badi at the next prime
The Star Academy is celebrating this week the 20th anniversary of its season 4, which left its mark with the victory of Grégory Lemarchal. Academicians will have the honor of sharing the stage this Saturday, November 23 with emblematic artists such as Jenifer, Roch Voisine, Camille Lou, Patxi and Chimène Badiwho will perform “I come from the south”. However, this choice provokes reactions at the castle. Marine, known for her humor, expressed her reservations about this piece: “I like the song, but I come from the north!” Finally, it is Maureen who will have the privilege of performing Michel Sardou's flagship title in a duet with Chimène Badi. “I love her so much. I love her voice, I find it magnificent. She is super intelligent, she expresses herself so well”she admitted, delighted to take on the challenge.
