Old-fashioned spy : Should you watch the series with Ted Danson?

The series Old-fashioned spy is it worth the detour? This bittersweet comedy is definitely worth a watch! One of the keystones of this success rests on Charles, his endearing and touching protagonist, and on his sober and effective interpretation by Ted Danson. This 76-year-old actor had already shown a more comic side in the series The Good Place where he plays Michael, architect of the Afterlife. A whole gallery of characters – whether it's Emily, Charles' daughter, Didi (Stephanie Beatriz in a role a thousand miles from that of Rosa in Brooklyn Nine-Nine) or the residents of the retirement home – brings to life the main narrative of Charles' investigation. Beyond the humor skillfully deployed around this amateur investigator, more moving themes such as love between seniors, maintaining a form of independence or the end of life enrich this series. A blanket, a cup of tea and onward: we challenge you not to get attached to this apprentice detective!
