Vitaa reveals the radical decision she made after being robbed and kidnapped

On the set of C to you on France 5, Vitaa returned to the home-jacking of which she was a victim with her family last December. The singer revealed that she made a radical decision following this traumatic event.

“Notoriety can be very expensive”introduced the host of C to you before recalling the facts: “Three men who broke into your home at 6 a.m. You found yourself face to face with one of these individuals armed with a bat who was yelling at you.” Faced with this memory, Vitaa admitted to feeling targeted because of her fame. “I said to myself: ‘If I wasn’t famous, they would have come to my house like that?’ I saw in their eyes that they knew very well who they were with.“she confided. Traumatized, the singer said she saw “things differently” since the burglary and kidnapping of which she was the target in 2023.

Vitaa made a radical decision after being the victim of this home-jacking. “Very honestly, there is a before and an after. Afterwards, we no longer live the same way”observed Slimane’s friend before revealing what she put in place to protect her family: “We take security even though I’m not someone like that at all. I go out, I do lots of things with my children, I’m like everyone else… There are lots of things I no longer do in the same way.” And that’s not the only change the star has made to ensure her safety: “I took everything out of my house, I no longer wear certain jewelry.”
