Benjamin Baroche, who plays Teyssier, shared in an interview his experience of juggling his acting career and his family life, revealing the difficulties of not seeing his family often.

Since 2020, viewers have followed the adventures of the students of the prestigious cooking school of the starred chef, Auguste Armand, in Here it all begins. Between gastronomy, gray areas and tensions, we clearly don’t have time to get bored with each episode. The latest intrigue? The return of chef Teyssier after several months of absence.
In the columns of TV Grandes Chaînes magazine, Benjamin Barochethe actor who plays Teyssier, spoke about his return to the series, but also about his private life. For several years, he has been the happy father of a 7-year-old little girl. “In life, I’m a real daddy hen“, he admits, before adding: “I am very tender with my 7 year old daughter. Much more than Teyssier is with his two children. Luckily for the little one!”

But like many actors, Benjamin Baroche sometimes has difficulty reconciling his professional life with his family life. A situation that seems to weigh him down… “Not seeing my family is very difficult to live with. I wish I could be a more present dad. Like many artists, I’m on the TGV a lot, I work on several projects at the same time.” he explains.
He continues: “My wife and my daughter came to live with me for almost a year in the Camargue. But they returned to Paris. For the moment, we manage like this…”. Still during this exchange, Benjamin Baroche also spoke of his wish to preserve his family as much as possible and to keep them as far away from social networks as possible.
Benjamin Baroche: will his daughter want to become an actress?
“I have never put a photo of my wife or my daughter on social networks. By doing a public job, I consider it important to preserve the peace of my family”, he declared. On the other hand, if his granddaughter wants to follow in her father’s footsteps and become an actress later, it would be for him “good news”.
“If that’s what she wants… Well, she’ll do it! After all, that would be good news, there’s no reason. Besides, she has already done some tests for a fiction. But as soon as she saw that she had to miss school, she told me: “No dad, I don’t want to anymore.” Despite her young age, she has a sense of priorities!” he laughs.
