For years viewers have seen his red armchair turn around in The Voice France. But after eight seasons including two victories (as coach of a winner), Mika's place will now be vacant.

A victory in 2014, another in 2019
The 41-year-old Lebanese singer joined the French version of the famous musical telecrochet in 2014. He then replaced Louis Bertignac. A first season crowned with laurels, since Mika turned to a certain Kendji Girac, who then joined his team… and won the 2014 edition.
His second (and last) victory in The Voice took place five years later with the victory, in 2019, of its candidate Whitney Marin.
Let the fans rest assured: it is not because he says he is stopping French TV shows that he will also shun the French scene. “In France, it’s over [les émissions de télé]. But as a singer, I will continue to come,” he assured Nagui on France 2 Friday.
