RTL is launching a new channel this Monday: what you need to know

RTL District will be launched this Monday afternoon.

It’s D-Day. RTL launches its 4th channel in Belgium: RTL District. A channel dedicated to stories of crime, murder and justice. With the program, quite a few rebroadcasts of successful police series: “The Experts”, “Criminal Minds” or “New York, Special Unit”, to name a few.

Speaking to Ciné-Télé-Revue, Julie Denayer, emblematic figure of RTL, explains about this new channel: “ We know that there is a truly passionate audience for this type of program. »

The presenter of “A Perfect Crime”, continues : « I think that, for years, we have noticed that there is a real demand from viewers for suspense shows, current events and tension-filled programs. This is how the idea of ​​creating this fourth channel was born, especially for this audience of enthusiasts. It’s a way of giving a gift to our viewers, who will now be able to watch this type of program at any time, whenever they want. ».

Several neighborhoods

As RTL explains, this fourth channel is organized into different “districts”, each devoted to specific content. In the law enforcement district, we will find Bertrand Caroy and his colleagues. In the crime masters’ quarters, the programs “A Perfect Crime” and “Portraits of Killers” will be broadcast. The channel will also highlight experts and emergency services capable of handling extreme intervention situations in the urgent business district, via programs such as “Emergency Calls” or “112 Emergency Helicopter”. Finally, the Planet Police district will offer you the most famous American detective series.

RTL district will therefore be available on your television or on RTL play from November 18 at 4:30 p.m.
