While Apple TV+ has revealed the very first episode, many questions are already haunting viewers, particularly regarding the truth about the air outside the silos. Graham Yost, the creator of the science fiction series, gave some ideas on this subject to Télé-Loisirs. Warning, spoilers!

One of the best science fiction series of 2023 has returned to Apple TV+! Since November 15, 2024, subscribers to the streaming platform can indeed discover the first episode of season 2 of Silo. If fiction, which has a lot in common with Duneis adapted from the books by Hugh Howey, the previous burst covered the first half of volume 1, while these new episodes focus on the second half. Graham Yost elaborated further. “Because, wait a minute… Everyone dies within three minutes of being released. But how were 10,000 people able to get out? How come some bodies are inside the airlock? All the people should have died on the ramp because they should have died the second they stepped out, and they didn't. One of the characters will come up with a theory that perhaps the poison wasn't as dense that day. Maybe the wind took it and came back and it killed them. And maybe that’s the case. But it's a good question“, Graham Yost teased us. Before telling us: “I will tell you this: you will have the answer because we will find out. But not now.“Things therefore do not seem as clear as one might believe regarding the air outside the silos. Episode 2 of season 2 of Silo is expected on Apple TV+ on November 22, 2024.
