Who will replace Mustii next year to try to win the Eurovision Song Contest?
Belgium is looking for the next representative of our colors to go to Eurovision. After Mustii, eliminated at the gates of the final last year, the VRT is looking for a new artist. In the list of potential candidates there are two faces who are not unknown to French-speaking viewers.
Among the 8 artists, there are Mentissa and Le Manou. The first won the trophy for “The Voice Kids” in 2014, in Flanders. She then participated in “The Voice France” in 2021 and became a coach of the program in French-speaking Belgium in 2024. The second participated in telecrochet in French-speaking Belgium during the second season.
Mentissa is now 24 years old. Bilingual in French and Dutch, she has also managed to make herself known in France. For his part, Le Manou, Manou Maerten in the city, has set up his own recording studio in the town of Durbuy and regularly works alongside Belgian artists. Also bilingual, she continues to perform on stage, particularly during festivals.
Here are the six other candidates who will try to win “Euro song 2025” with an original composition to represent Belgium: Jelle van Dael, Lenn, Grace, LEEZ, Red Sebastian and Stefanie Callebaut.
The Eurovision final will take place next May in Basel, Switzerland. In the meantime, to discover the Belgian representative, the Flemish channel Eèn will meet viewers on February 1st.
