On the social network X, these statements reported by Gilles Verdez did not please Internet users at all. They considered the release of this book opportunistic, barely three months after the death of the main person concerned.

But they were not at the end of their surprise, since the biographer goes further, as reported on the TPMP set. In 1968, Stéphane Markovic, Alain Delon's handyman, was found murdered. “According to Bernard Violet, he would have been killed because he was blackmailing Alain Delon. He would have had in his possession a photo of Alain having sexual intercourse with a young prostitute,” reported Gilles Verdez. But according to the book, the actor refused to give in to blackmail and asked a friend in the industry to correct Markovic who was blackmailing him. But this “correction” allegedly went wrong, ultimately resulting in murder. Bernard Violet “corroborates this by saying that Delon always had friends in the mafia” then added the columnist, who, cautiously, also specified that the friend in question was “relaxed from these facts”.
